The Standard Costs Analysis workshop is a research project aimed at introducing a directional control in order to determine the characteristics of the different parts of costs in public administrations and particularly in healthcare.
Its main goal is to state reference values and make them readable at all levels, both in the organization and out of it.
The pillars of the workshop’s model are: transparency, reporting and responsibility at all levels of the organization.
Standard costs are fundamental to build and properly use the system of management indicators (economic and health productivity), they are tools to measure, interpret, control (plan, monitor, evaluate) management phenomena.
