AGREEMENT BETWEEN LUM SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT AND MANPOWERGROUP FOR STAGES FOR THE MASTER PARTICIPANTS OF THE SCHOOL

The agreement signed between LUM School of Management and ManpowerGroup is another key feature of the strategy thought for enhancing the value of those people engaged in the school’s activities and their placement in the labor market.

This agreement, thanks to ManpowerGroup which is a reality that operates worldwide therefore able to provide opportunities in any country, serves on both national and international level and completes the work carried out last year that has allowed the School to approach nearly 300 institutions and companies, nationally and internationally that contribute to actively promote internships and placements of those students enrolled in courses and masters.Specifically, ManpowerGroup, through its sister company Experis S.r.l. specialised in research and personnel selection activities offers to the School of Management of the University LUM Jean Monnet its cooperation in order to develop a Stage Project aimed to the students attending a master program. It takes place through the following steps.

Individual interview

-to share and deepen soft skills, ability and knowledge not mentioned in the resumé, aspirations and expectations and possible professional pathways in line with today’s labour market

-to identify local companies as ideal addressees according to the relevant field, specific training acquired, structure and organisation, growth and development scenarios

-to check availability to attend a training outside the region thus evaluating preferred locations subject to the availability of the candidate.

Finding companies willing to accommodate people through the instrument of the StageTraining

-companies interested in young people with higher education,  to the generational change, transversal competences

-companies that invest in Employer Branding

-companies that have planned for 2013-2014 youth insertions in the stage

Presentation of graduates to companies

-sending a summary about the candidates and their characteristics

-planning explanatory meetings with company representatives to promote concrete opportunities of cooperation.
