{"id":10143,"date":"2021-07-14T16:07:07","date_gmt":"2021-07-14T14:07:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/management.lum.it\/?p=10143"},"modified":"2025-12-04T12:57:26","modified_gmt":"2025-12-04T11:57:26","slug":"the-new-degree-course-in-medicine-and-surgery-for-lum-university-was-inaugurated-this-morning-with-a-press-conference-in-the-apulia-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/management.lum.it\/en\/the-new-degree-course-in-medicine-and-surgery-for-lum-university-was-inaugurated-this-morning-with-a-press-conference-in-the-apulia-region\/","title":{"rendered":"The new degree course in medicine and surgery for LUM University was inaugurated this morning with a press conference in the Apulia Region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The new degree course in medicine and surgery for LUM University was inaugurated this morning with a press conference in the Apulia Region.<\/p>\n<p>Speakers at the press conference were:<\/p>\n<p>Antonello Garzoni, Magnificent Rector of LUM;<br \/>\nBruno Moncharmont, Coordinator of the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery, former Professor of General Pathology;<br \/>\nMichele Emiliano, President of the Apulia Region;<br \/>\nDon Mimmo Laddaga, Delegate Governor of Miulli Hospital;<br \/>\nPierluigi Lopalco, Councillor for Health of the Apulia Region;<br \/>\nSebastiano Leo, Councillor for University of the Apulia Region;<br \/>\nVito Montanaro, Head of the Health Promotion Department of the Apulia Region;<br \/>\nFilippo Anelli, National President of the Medical Association.<br \/>\nThe coordinator was Francesco Albergo, professor of Risk Management and Control in Healthcare Companies at LUM University.<br \/>\nThe opening of the new degree course, as explained by the Rector Prof. Garzoni, was made possible thanks also to the agreement with the Miulli Regional Hospital in Acquaviva delle Fonti, specifying that this new course &#8220;is not only an opportunity for LUM but for the whole of Apulia Region&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>In the presentation of the project, it was made clear that the new degree course will pay particular attention to issues relating to local medicine, a critical point in this pandemic period, focusing on a more innovative medicine.<\/p>\n<p>LUM has already inaugurated a degree course in Management Engineering for the 21\/22 academic year.<\/p>\n<p>The new opening of the campus in October 2021, based on the American model, will provide the University with the improvement of the previous structures and the opening of residencies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new degree course in medicine and surgery for LUM University was inaugurated this morning with a press conference in the Apulia Region.
